123RF at Inmagine!

Wow!

After the initial post, we have been overwhelmed with enquiries and we have taken the time to reply every single one of them. Plus we also wanted to iron out all the concerns first before putting this out.

Anyway, we are excited to finally share with you guys something that would put a smile on your faces.

In an effort to maximize the exposure of your images online we have managed to convince the guys at Inmagine to include the largest resolution of your best images as part of inmagine's search results!

What this means effectively is that your images will be available at premium stock outfit Inmagine.com whereby contributors will be getting a 50% commission. This would be a great opportunity for you to to get extra sales. Also, this would pave the way for your images to have a different sort of audience.

The image below is a screenshot of how your images will appear in Inmagine. (click to enlarge)

We are rolling these images out in phases so for now only those residing in Australia or UK can see the "Value" tab. We will roll out its implementation in stages to closely monitor implementation effects and sustainability.

If you guys have any questions about it we would like to hear them at the comments below. Or for those who have twitter, send us a tweet at www.twitter.com/123RF

Will be interesting to see microstock images competing directly with macrostock. It seems that after the initial opposition years ago, that microstock is becoming more and more accepted, which is great as it has allowed new buyers and new photographers to emerge. I think traditional stock will always remain though and hopefully the two model types can live with each other, even sharing the same sites.
