What is the name of the galaxy where Earth is located?

The Milky Way Galaxy is the galaxy where Earth is located. It is a barred spiral galaxy that contains about two hundred billion stars and has a diameter of about 100,000 light years. Our solar system orbits around the center of the Milky Way Galaxy at an average distance of 25,000 light years from its center. The Milky Way Galaxy is just one of billions of galaxies in the universe.
